PIPS, in conjunction with Belfast Media Group, will be putting on our second annual shortest sponsored walk you will ever do in the form of the breath taking and mind over matter epic that is the ‘Feet of Flames Firewalk’. This year we want to break the Irish record for people fire walking so we want 150 volunteers to complete the challenge this year.

It’s the ultimate challenge in courage and determination because…it teaches… you to “get to the other side” much the same as positive thinking. Only this time, you’ve got to walk across burning coals!!!!

How does it feel to walk on hot coals I hear you ask? There must be something special about it right?

Yes, actually there is something very magical and special about the experience.
The feelings of exhilaration, release, ultimate success and achievement are very therapeutic. We at PIPS who completed the challenge last year enjoyed an experience which was very empowering and one that we’ll never forget.

During the one hour training that you must complete you will be given the chance to feel the “heat” of the situation (or the conflict) and then learn to resolve the conflict within yourself, and move ahead to take that first step.
